# How to create a 3-way switch

# Creating 3-way switches using SHIFT or MESSAGE SCROLL

Instead of toggling between two positions, you may want to scroll through three positions. There are a couple of different ways to do this, but they all involve either using SHIFT states or the Message Scroll feature. Here are some possibilities to get you started

## Method 1. Scroll through three states with press (using Shift)
* Toggle Mode ON, and labels set:
