MC8 PRO PCB Board Replacement
This article describes how to replacement the PCB on the MC8 PRO.
- Remove backplate screws
- Remove Omniport and Relay port nuts
- Remove backplate
- Remove antenna pin. Just pull the cable at an angle to remove it.

- Remove LCD FPC ribbon cable. Lift the flap to remove the cable.

- Remove screws securing the PCB down
- You will be able to lift the PCB up after the screws are removed.
- If you look at the underside, you will see that the switches are connected to the PCB via 2pin connectors. Pull the connectors out
- You are now free to remove and replace the PCB.
- You can transfer the SD card from your old board to your new board. Push the SD card holder flap down and you will be able to lift it to remove the SD card

- Reverse the process to secure the new PCB. Connect the switches to the correct pins first. The switch labels are on the top side.
