Issues with the Editor after the latest update
We regularly release updates to the Morningstar Editor to add new features, improve performance, and fix bugs.
Occasionally, a new Editor update may introduce an unexpected issue that affects your setup. If you're experiencing a problem immediately after an Editor update, you can temporarily switch back to the previous version of the Editor while we work on resolving the issue.
How to access the previous Editor version
- Open the Morningstar Editor as usual.
- Scroll to the bottom of the Editor page.
- Look for Previous Editor deployment.
- Click Click Here to open the version of the Editor that was available before the latest update.

You'll also see links to Editor versions associated with previous firmware releases.
Using the previous Editor deployment does not require you to downgrade your controller's firmware.
If your controller is already running the latest firmware, you can continue using it unless instructed otherwise.
Still having trouble?
If switching to the previous Editor resolves the problem, it's likely that the issue is related to the latest Editor update. Please contact Morningstar Support and let us know what you encountered, including your controller model, firmware version, and the steps that caused the issue.
This information helps us reproduce and resolve the problem as quickly as possible.
Once the issue has been fixed, you can return to the latest Editor simply by opening the normal Editor URL again.
