Updating your ML5R Firmware

The ML5R does not have any exposed USB ports for firmware updates, but there is an internal micro-USB port that can be used. To access the port, remove the 4 screws from the backplate. You will then be able to remove the backplate. On the right side of the ML5R, you will see a microUSB port. Connect your computer to the ML5R using a microUSB cable and then follow the standard firmware update process using our firmware updater software.
