QC Mini and Quad Cortex - Bank Up and Down using MIDI
Both the Quad Cortex and QC Mini do not have Bank Up/Down MIDI implementation. However, there is an easy workaround to bank up and down using MIDI with a Morningstar MIDI foot controller as shown in this video.
How Is This Achieved?
Each QC Mini bank contains 4 presets, while each Quad Cortex bank contains 8 presets. To bank up/down on each of these devices, we effectively just need to jump up/down by 4 presets (for QC Mini) or 8 presets (for QC).
This can be achieved by stacking multiple PC Number Scroll messages with a Morningstar controller.
Bank Up/Down with PC Number Scroll
If you are unfamiliar with using the PC Number Scroll message type, please first refer to this section.
By stacking multiple PC number scroll messages, we can increase the current PC number by 4 and send it out, effectively banking up/down on the QC Mini.

In the screenshot above, 3 messages only increase the scroll counter and the final message increases and sends the PC message. With each press of the switch, the PC number increases by 4 and gets sent to the QC mini, making it bank up.
To bank down,. repeat the same using Decrease instead of Increase.
To do the same with the Quad Cortex, use 7 messages to increase the scroll counter and 1 more to increase and send the PC Number (total jump by 8).
