Changing your ML10X LCD

Swapping the LCDs is only possible with the Rev B ML10X models. For the Rev A models, the LCD is soldered directly to the main board and hence is not possible to change.


  1. Remove the 4 screws holding the backplate down and then remove the backplate.
  2. After removing the backplate, look towards the right of the ML10X. You'll see a ribbon cable or FPC cable connecting the two boards together. Remove the cable


  1. Thereafter, pull the board out on each side, and then slide the board out to the right.



  1. Remove the audio jack nuts and remove both audio jack connector boards.


  1. You'll now have access to the main board where the LCD is connected to. Unclip the LCD ribbon cable connector by lifting the connector flap.


  1. Remove the screws that is securing the board to the enclosure. You'll be able to lift the board out and then have access to remove the LCD.
