Using Mono and Stereo pedals together
There are several possible scenarios when using Mono and Stereo pedals together.
For any splitting or merging of signals in the ML10X, only Advanced mode can be used.
For example, if you have the Strymon Sunset (mono) and the Strymon Timeline (Stereo) device in your setup, and you want to split the mono signal from the Sunset and run it into the Timeline stereo L and R inputs, the setting will look like this in the Editor:

one Send and Return port is connected to the Sunset Input and Output
one Send and Return port is connected to the Timeline L Input and L Output
one Send and Return port is connected to the Timeline R Input and R Output
Using the Strymon Timeline as an example, it allows you to take in a mono input and send a stereo output.
If you want to make use of this feature where you run a mono signal into the Timeline L port, and then return a stereo signal back to the ML10X from the Timeline L and R ports, and then continue routing the stereo signal from there, you can use Simple mode for this.
In this example, we’ll use the Strymon Timeline and Strymon Bigsky, which has both stereo inputs and outputs.
In this example, a mono signal is send to the Input Tip (Input Ring is not used). A Tip Send is connected to the Timeline L Input. The stereo outputs from the Timeline is then returned to A Tip Return and B Tip Return. B Tip Send is not used. The stereo signal is then further routed to the Bigsky L and R ports and then to the Output Tip and Ring ports.
B Tip Send isn’t physically connected to anything.
If you want to create this setup in Advanced mode, it will look like this:
